Although we are looking to create a huge field by running qualifiers all around the world, players do have the option of buying in directly to this event. The entry fee is $5000. In order to create the $1,000,000 prize pool that we envision, we will need at least 200 entrants. We are optimistic that we can make the field even larger than 200 players, thus making the prize pool that much bigger. Our qualifier structure, which allows poolroom owners and tournament directors to make money also, will help us fill this tournament with lots of players and lots of cash! This tournament will happen, no matter how many players we end up having. If we have to run a tournament with 20 players for $100,000, then we will do it. Of course, final payouts depend on the final number of entries we receive, but we have a great structure and innovative system to fill this tournament.
